1910
A stirred mezcal drink with Punt e Mes, maraschino liqueur and Peychaud's bitters, from Drink in Boston.
Go to the recipe ↓The 1910 is a stirred drink Ezra Star created at Drink in Boston, named for the year the Mexican Revolution began. Mezcal splits the base with a second spirit, and Punt e Mes, maraschino liqueur and Peychaud's bitters complete it. The second spirit is your choice. The drink began with reposado tequila, and Star later settled on Cognac, which is the main recipe here. The earlier tequila version makes both base spirits agave. It also changes the serve: a rocks glass with the orange peel discarded, rather than a chilled coupe with the twist left in.
