Fourth Regiment
A stirred cocktail of equal parts rye and sweet vermouth, seasoned with celery and Peychaud's.
Go to the recipe ↓The Fourth Regiment is equal measures of rye and sweet vermouth, stirred with ice and strained. All three published versions below share that base. The real choice is the seasoning: which celery ingredient you buy and whether orange bitters belong in the glass. Pour size and twist differ less.

What changes your shopping list
Punch is the only version built on a concentrated celery shrub, such as Bittermens, and it skips orange bitters, so Peychaud's is the only bitters bottle it needs. Anvil's version via Imbibe and Cocktail Virgin both call for celery, Peychaud's and orange bitters; Anvil doubles the celery dashes against one each of the others, while Cocktail Virgin gives all three a single dash.
Both 1 1/2 oz versions point to high-proof rye: Anvil uses Wild Turkey 101 and Punch specifies 100-proof. Cocktail Virgin pours 1 oz of each base and cuts a lemon twist where the other two use orange.
