Old Friend

A shaken gin, Campari, elderflower and grapefruit drink served up, from Negroni Campari.

Go to the recipe ↓

The Old Friend is a gin-led drink: 45 ml of gin, a smaller measure of Campari, grapefruit juice and a little elderflower liqueur. It is shaken hard, double strained and served without ice, so the glass is the thing to prepare ahead. The source allows a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora and suggests about ten minutes in the freezer for a coupe.
