We’ve always been captivated by Mezcal at St. Agrestis. Similar to our first love amaro, the esoteric spirit is heavily influenced by its specific regionality and nature. Phony Mezcal Negroni pairs our obsession of the Negroni with our adoration and respect for mezcal.

Carefully, our team of award winning producers worked to mimic the characteristics of mezcal without alcohol, knowing that it would only be adequate when we achieved a quality that directly mirrored our respect for the spirit.

Utilizing the base of our beloved classic Phony Negroni®, we’ve emphasized mezcal qualities with a proprietary blend of botanicals which provide nuanced notes of smoke, vegetal complexity and earthiness to complement its bitter foundation. These layered botanicals paired with a touch of carbonation provide a silky mouthfeel that mimics the bite of alcohol.

Made ready-to-serve, all you need is a bottle opener to enjoy the same award winning beverage served at countless Michelin-starred restaurants, renowned bars and venues across the United States.

"I love mezcal and was particularly excited about this one. I used to work in the spirits industry with several trips to Mexico every year. That being said, this unfortunately misses the mark in my opinion. It tastes like a mix between antiseptic throat spray and barbecue sauce, but not actually mezcal. Shame.
